What we have learned during this semester...

During this semester we have learned how to make advertisement,the way how it works, what we should include.... Also we have learned how to write cover letter,CV about our self...Learning how to do an interview was an important part of this semester, the possible questions that can be part of it, how we should act during the interview,what kind of attitudes we should have in front of an interviewer, how should our appearance be, how can we menage the stress during an interview. Part of this semester was also effective time management, how can we menage the time. And how can we resolve conflicts in different kind of situations,circumstances,with different characters etc. This lessons are really important on our every day life,because they can help us to deal and menage every situation.

Why use time management skills?
What skills are required for effective time management?

It's important that you develop effective strategies for managing your time to balance the conflicting demands of time for study, leisure, earning money and job hunting. Time management skills are valuable in job hunting, but also in many other aspects of life: from revising for examinations to working in a vacation job.

Sometimes it may seem that there isn't enough time to do everything that you need to. This can lead to a build up of stress. When revising for examinations, or during your final year when you have to combine the pressures of intensive study with finding time to apply for jobs good management of your time can be particularly important. Once we have identified ways in which we can improve the management of our time, we can begin to adjust our routines and patterns of behavior to reduce any time-related stress in our lives.

Some of these skills including setting clear goals, breaking your goals down into discreet steps, and reviewing your progress towards your goals are covered in Action Planning.

Other skills involved include prioritizing - focusing on urgent and important tasks rather than those that are not important or don't move you towards your goals; organizing your work schedule; list making to remind you of what you need to do when; persevering when things are not working out and avoiding procrastination.

Introduction to interviewing

"Choose a job you love,and you will never have to work a day in your life."- Confucius,philosopher.           The point of this quote it's really clear  and meaningful, if we want to enjoy our work it has to be the one that we are looking for. But there are some steps to achieve and to make this reality. The first one is to know exactly what we want, and than there is the interview.  What is an interview and why it is important?! Interview is a conversation between two or more people, made for different purposes. It is a form of question and answer. The main elements of an interview are: interaction,purpose and exchange. But as we have learnd there are some stages of interview: introduction,body,closing stage.   Introduction stage is the first part that builds the raport between the parties in the exchange. Body stage is transferring the information from one party to the other. Closing stage is the stage of the result, it's the part when the interview participants say their final thoughts.

I made my presentation, but I have to say that I'm not satisfied of myself. I hope that it was kind of informative for you, but I didn't had internet on the flat where I live so  I couldn't find enough materials.

Nonverbal communication

       How we speak different, without using a language,is what we've recently learned.
       Nonverbal communication was an interesting lesson, I've learned a lot about body language. It is something that speaks and shows much more than our voice. How our movements, hands, clothing, facial expression etc can speak We saw videos of known people  where we could distinguish different things, starting from the way they were talking,the gestures that they were using, the eye contact, the voice. We have learned how should a presentation be, how to ménage the stress by having enough sleep, telling ourselves positive things like "I can do it, i'm good at it", how will our voice sound good on a presentation etc. We aloso learned how can we practice before a presentation, how should the space be prepared before it.
      Things that will help us on our everyday life and in our future. We should pay attention on our nonverbal communication cus it may cause damages, but it may also give us a lot of success in different fields of our live.

     

           Well,hello my friends...finally i got in! It was hard to create a blog but even harder to log on it! Thanks to my friends,who helped me with it i got in!

         At the beginning i didn't like the idea of using a blog,instead of it for me it was easier using facebook,but now i think it is really interesting. I followed my colleagues,so i hope we'll discuss about different toppings and make this page even more interesting.
